(Almost) Getting Paid to Fly

Wednesday, September 28th, 2005

Just bought tickets for what’s seemingly becoming a tradition of going to the Chaos Computing Congress with Nyholm and who else wants to go.
Tales about cheap tickets are common these days but this experience blew me away. For the outward leg of the journey i paid 3 Euro - for the return leg I got paid 0,5 Euro. Read that again “-0,5 Euro” it said - getting paid to fly.
Or almost - with government taxes and credit card fee’s the total was around 40 Euro for a international return flight)
EasyJet, you got a real new disruptive thing going there!

Interesting event.
