CommonMe mblog beta.
I’ve been bullish on this one for a long time and have now finally gotten around to testing out the concept myself. This is beta with a standard design not optimized for the picture format. I’ll test out doing daily shots on the seperate mblog and only posting pictures to my main blog when there’s enough relevance and a good story in the picture…
Equipment: Nokia 3650 phone
Software: Mail2entry mt-script, Movable Type, Imagemagick integrated through some late night hacking by the always amazing Mr. Unicast.
Format: 640×480 vga from the nokia phone scaled 50% and sharpened in imagemagick.
Tip: You need to hack the script to not detecting the mime type since the symbian mail client sends an application/octet mime type.

When i was a kid i had a booklet full of my own concept car drawings including specifications, target groups and pricing for the concept cars. Spent many hours in boring classes spec’ing and drawing cars, dreaming about the future.
So Car Design News is amazing when all you wanted to be when you we’re a kid was a car designer…
