“Digital humanism”- trying to write an article for a magazine urging for humanistic discussions about our future digital society, instead of only technological and business discussions/hype – you know, good old engelbart style thinking. Any pointers/ideas?

I’m off to Washington DC for a couple of days. Bringing my DV-camera, so expect lot’s of pictures and perhaps even some video when i get back ;_)
If my travel companion is into it, i’ll try to visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial – the master example of using information design to create a unique experience with strong values. (victim’s shown by date of death instead of by lastname).
Also got to remember an iPod for my littlebrother! and some weird robots for “the-eighties-disco’s-icon”, Mr. Henk Buis
